Sizes and packaging of your gift boxes

We have a variety of boxes to suit different budgets.

Our letterbox gifts are approximately 6x6x1.25” white box with neutral fillers, packaged with a label ‘A little something to enjoy’ with pre-tied navy grosgrain ribbon.

Our regular boxes are approximately 5x5x2” white gift box with neutral fillers, packaged with a box sleeve with message ‘A little something to enjoy’, elastic stretch gold loop with pre-tied purple/pink ribbon, and white organza pouch.

Our deluxe boxes are 8x8x3" white box with lid and filled with neutral fillers, double-sided satin ribbon in navy or blush pink, gift tag (blank or personalized gift message).

 

Where do you source your items?

We strive to include as many items as we can from small businesses within Canada and US. We also proudly produce some of the items in our studio, with ingredients and materials sourced within Canada and US. All our handmade items are made in small batches with no preservatives and with the simplest ingredients that is recognizable by everyone.

 

What is your response time for all communication via email?

Our working days is Mon-Fri. We typically respond to your emails within 24 hr.

 

Do you have an order minimum?

There are no order minimums to order for our Ready-to-Ship boxes.

 

How long will it take for my order to ship?

We typically ship within 1-3 business days.

 

Can I ship the gift box directly to recipient?

You sure can! At checkout, provide the shipping address of the recipient instead of your own. Please double check on the shipping address. Erynshomeandgifts will not be held responsible for any lost box due to wrong addresses.

If the gift box is return to our warehouse, a reshipment + handling fee applies.

 

How are the gift boxes shipped out?

Our gift boxes are sturdy shipping mailers, so they are shipped out in bubble mailers to minimize unnecessary packaging materials.

All Deluxe collection are shipped out in a separate shipping box.

 

How does shipping works?

United States:

We offer free shipping for all addresses within United States. All gift boxes are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS). Shipping generally takes about 3-6 business days depending on postal code and season. During peak season (eg Mother’s Day, Christmas, New Year etc), shipping may be delayed for up to 7-10 business days at some of the USPS facilities. Customers are advised to keep track of their orders to prevent last minute misdelivery or unexpected delays.

For deliveries within United States, we provide shipping upgrades via FEDEX which we believe are more reliable;

FEDEX Priority typically takes 1-2 business day.

FEDEX Economy typically takes 3-5 business days.

During peak season, delays with FEDEX deliveries are possible.

Canada:

Depending on the postal code, order, and time of the year, we typically use FEDEX Ground or Canada Post Expedited Parcel. FEDEX Ground takes 3-5 business days whereas Canada Post takes 3-10 business days.

Free shipping within Canada is applicable for orders over $100.

 

What happens if my gift box is ‘Returned to Sender’, which is to our representative warehouse?

We do not keep track of any returned mails. It is customers responsibility to keep track of their order and to contact us directly if there is an issue with the delivery.

If the gift box is returned to us for any reason (eg misdelivery, addressee unknown, wrong address, forwarded but not delivered etc), a reprocess fee + shipment fee applies.

Returned mails are normally slightly bashed up due to all the transits. We open the boxes to inspect all items and replace any items or packaging material as required (sometimes we replace the entire box!).

Reprocess fee is $5 (for letterboxes), $7 (for all other regular boxes), and $10 (for Deluxe boxes).

Shipment fee is $5 (for letterboxes), $7 (for all other regular boxes), and $12 (for Deluxe boxes).

 

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of the items in the gift box, we are not able to accept returns or issue refunds. In the unlikely event your gift box arrived in a damaged condition, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we have the opportunity to rectify the issue. Do you include a receipt in the box?

Most gift boxes are shipped directly to the recipient, so we automatically do not include any receipt in the shipment. Senders will receive an email confirmation upon placing the order and this will serve as a receipt. Please contact us for any issues erynshomeandgifts@gmail.com
